We are at the midpoint of the summer and the heat wave has finally hit us.  If you are like me, you are looking for natural ways to cool off during the heat of the day.  It is easy to become dehydrated if you are spending time outside and enjoying the summer weather.  Drinking plenty of water, seeking shade and eating cooling foods like watermelon and other fruits can help make the summer heat more enjoyable.

Alcoholic beverages, although may seem like they are quenching your thirst, don’t actually rehydrate the body. Instead, try this fresh summer juice that is great for replacing electrolytes and is sure to help you stay hydrated.

Most of the ingredients in this juice can be found this time of year at your local farmers market or in your own backyard garden.

Refreshing Summer Juice

1 cucumber
2 stalks celery
