When we talk about office air quality, we generally look at adding plants to oxygenate the air and remove impurities. Poor office air quality can be created from dusty carpets, harsh cleaning products, and air fresheners.

Essential oils are extracted from plant sources that have strong fragrances and bold healing properties.  Many essential oils have anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties, making them excellent candidates to clean and purify an office.

How To Use Essential Oils at Work

  1. Make your own cleaning products by combining essential oils with water for wiping down desks and other surfaces.
  2. Use a diffuser to infiltrate the essential oils into the air to help purify the air and reduce the spread of germs.
  3. Freshen bathroom air without the harmful toxic side effects of using traditional air fresheners.
  4. Apply a drop of essential oil to your wrist and enjoy a relaxing aroma. Some great options are vanilla, lavender, orange, and peppermint.

Essential oils are available in single fragrances or as blends of oil.  Blends are exceptionally nice because various complimentary oils are combined to create a more powerfully pleasing scent.
